We will be putting out new print/kindle anthologies in the next few months. Including Fevers of the Mind 5 & 6 within the next few months & a sequel to mark the 5 years since Leonard Cohen’s death anthology “Before I Turn Into Gold” which will feature updated versions of my poems in the first Anthology, 10 or so from the 1st Anthology & submissions this whole year from the blog and submissions to our e-mail email@example.com
If you’d like to submit for a future anthology check some of our topics listed on the front page or from our July Themes page
The goal of this website is to keep putting out a lot of great content, interviews, poetry, essays, challenges, posts that are eligible for a print anthology & more. I will need some help with donations here & there if possible through our paypal at firstname.lastname@example.org As someone who works full time and most of the money going towards bills, rent, & family my time becomes precious and I love doing this site and providing new options all the time. Including the following now:
In the future i’m hoping to update some of my personal books (David L O’Nan) and also will be putting out a new Leonard Cohen Inspired Anthology that will include some new art by Geoffrey Wren, a few Leonard Cohen inspired poems added from the blog, and even a few from the first Anthology “Avalanches in Poetry Writings & Art Inspired by Leonard Cohen” I will also be placing my revised versions of the original poems in that anthology to be placed in the new anthology.
Thank you for coming to Fevers of the Mind for all of the awesome content we are able to provide & introduce new writers/artists/musicians to the rest of the poetry & writing community as well.
The end of the year anthologies for 2021 will be a series of smaller anthologies with a few based on themes and all considered will be published on this blog prior to consideration.
The hope for me right now is to have at least a sequel to Avalanches in Poetry Writings & Art Inspired by Leonard Cohen, The Best of 2021 Social Justice Poetry, Old Hollywood Poetry (including the Audrey Hepburn Challenge) with more themes to come, Mental Health & Anxiety (the basic core of what Fevers of the Mind came from) being a few of the themes. For current themes see below link from a recent post. If enough poems come in for a particular theme they will be considered for their own anthology as well.
