A Poetry Showcase from Anushna Biswas

Monsoon Sonata

A tree standing in solitude
In the rural midland
Monsoon showers filled the side
A few yellow birds cross it
A lonely man sitting under the tree
A burst of thunders
Sonata of torrenrial rains
As if a lyrical one

Heavy monsoon flutters the forest
Thus a day would pass by
Stopping all manual work quiet

This is the day of monsoon sonata.

Fugitive Time

It seems you have spent alone one year clear
Have you thought of me standing over the river
Water, water everywhere
Encircles me dear
I was at the garden of red oleander
Watching milestones of poetry
Sparkle I see in the the sky everywhere

You were not with me for a year
But I found you in the moonlight whispering dimmer
Slowly I inch towards you
If you decide return to my door

With a hope that if I get the lost one year.

End Of The Story

To be precise my story ends here
Just wait to confront thick darkness
But I know time mutates in such dark ambience
Good people turn frauds and frauds wise men

History of mankind is like thus
But mind you this is not the time to play duffer

Humanism splinters around us
Domestic people do not try to restore such scar

To be precise the story does not end here
Throw your eyes sharp everywhere
And perceive what ruination faces crumbling of human values.

Milestone

There are milestones everywhere
History contained it in its fingers
Men seem to have lost sight
This is the penitence of our great times

I picked the line from stone slab
It is filled with multiple meanings
The word contains in it deep idea and illuminaation

At such time I pick a line and park it on the table
Reflection is found of million stars from the surface

Milestones mean history of the past
Those who neglect it yet just get lost

The sun sinks in the spread of million stars
I chase it like a mirage
But I find in it eternal times of my ancestors.

Word

In action is active
A binge of words

Hung under it big bags of gaffes
No one keeps his words
All is lost in big lie

Now floats a tale of rainbow
Little bit of that is prime show
The rest is a big bully
Found a bag of lies in its tally.
