Poetry Showcase from Anushna Biswas

PITY OF WAR

Ukraine caught in war cry
No relief for victims
Global voice overcomes boundary
To condemn war-monger Putin

RAINBOW IN POVERTY

Poverty sparked off by greedy barons
On the horizon
Dream-rainbow solaces
Labours half-bent, poor
With paper crowns.

CRUELLEST APRIL

April caught in cruellest summer
Rains bring glee
To the tillers and bummers.

MAGIC TREE

Here is a magic tree
it is cool & free
When comes storm
It offers its platform

Here is a magic tree
It is cool & free.

BIRD'S WHISTLE

In crisis and failure
 Important things we abjure
 A migratory bird arrives
 Watches turmoil and disturbed souls
 On whistling a medicinal sound
 Cures our ailment and fouls.
