Malaise of the Suffering
A lowly lamentation becomes cacophonous When webs of crystalline frustration Intersect and weave into crystal insanity, For we the downtrodden find salvation In a diminishing hope Never bleak enough to subjugate faith, A silent calling warped by the privileged few Whose power is cemented by fallacies Bloodened bullion that knows no age. No, the malaise of the suffering Is that which pervades The core of all mundane homes Where the living writhe grief stricken And burdened by handmade levers That dictate the jaded rules of subjugation; The lies that prevent mobilisation, An awakening of unity Dormant.Bio: Anthony is a Black Mixed-race poet & writer who has spent most of his life in the Middle East jostling between the UK & America.
