A Poetry Showcase by J.D. Nelson

to musk a denver toad

the word was a walking half
to be the boiling half

the other half is the knocking crux
in athens with the romeo of the cloud

the charm™ of the jungle
a hand of the jumble

to be the briggs
to be the laughing hands

milk was your bug
the salting heads

the pillow of the drunken ant

sleep was the confusion
minus capricorn to stunt a lead head

          a scientific cloud

the truthing fish
that berry of oz

my brain is a bag of wood
the muddy lock is normal

losing the northern glass wheat
the sprout is the gamma of the coil

the rock of the santa
the flesh is the pondering toast

that green plank

I was a big instant bug
I was in the trash

in the time of islands
I was the salt of the book

with the power of the clown
pardon me for walking

           the bacon surf
           the normal eye

in the alphabet winter
near that lake of the half apple

the corn of st. andrew's

were you a certain fish?
were you a mint chocolate chip?

the moon is the rock of the winter
that spice is the storm of the port

loan me a sandwich
I have seen the nothing

scientifically using a moon
here in the sun with a formula

I’ve been lost
the pig is the answer

minoan radio

the thunder of the robot
I am the selfish goose

we have a bee
a bee of the science

the nickel and programming
a sour helicopter

of course, there is the eye
the greek name of the island

a waffle of corn
I know a knight

the king arthur flour
the boiling radish
