Love and Lust

Due to his love for the beach, he visits her every day.
He plays with her
and decorates her with beautiful sandcastles
each time he visits.
One day, the sea saw him from afar
and she fell in love with him.
She whispered his name but he did not answer,
So she took a stroll to the beach to woo him.
She came to him in a smooth golden cloak,
She mixed words like a witch who whips out spells
and her magical words enchanted him.
And like the walls of jericho,
He FELL for her.

"Come with me and i will show you more of me" said the sea.
When he was about leaving,
The beach held his hands
and begged him not to leave her.
But the sea was beautiful than the beach
She was filled with beautiful treasures
While the beach was filled with just sand
So he chose the sea over the beach.
(His LUST for the sea overpowered his LOVE for the beach)

He followed the sea to her house,
They played till the night came.
When it was time for him to go home,
The sea refused to let him go
Her love for him turned into obsession
And now, she wants him all to herself
so she drowned him.
Now in silence,
She lingers beside him all night wishing
she had never wooed him.

After many days,
She got tired of his lifeless body.
She realized all she had for him
was infatuation and not true love
So she threw his body to the beach.
When the beach recieved his body,
Colors of dark grey and black filled her heart,
No other feeling could possibly be worst than this.
Where was once a room filled with laughter and cheer,
Now stands loneliness, emptiness and despair
'cause a boy chose lust over love.

My Muse

If I were to count every poem I wrote about you,
I wonder how many they would be.
Everynight, I try to write something new about you
but my pen and heart fails me
for my Muse has broken my heart into a piece;
a piece with no meaning.
For you were the dictions
that gave meanings to my poems
You were the A-Z of my life
And now without you, my words are meaningless.
Can one ever spell without alphabet?
These days all I do is;
Wear a mask of fake smiles
With steady pretentious actions
Just to feign your presence
Just to conceal the pain your absence inflicts
You meant a lot to me!
