Seas Coveted

Driftwood crackles
Along ornate shorelines
Where out as one swam
Supple flesh was grasped

And saline lubricant
Did give internal cleansing
As waves broke and hummed
Their demented prayers

As serenaded were lovers
Submerged in waters ephemeral,
And consumed by glaring moonlight
As Aphrodite hushed waters

And bitter waves did consume all sin,
Cleansed by Neptune and offspring,
Arcane.

Conditions

Riled nerves are collected
In shelved discontent
Where tedious tantrums
Burst from arcane grudges

And gargantuan exasperation
Brings resurgence of recurrent quarrels
To the forefront of voracious anger
Never quelled by sutured lips

That explode like canned nutrition
Sealed away from the chagrin
Of demented concoctions
Connected by complex mania

And cruel constellations
Of failed socialization
Where momentary lapses,
Fugacious fiascos fleeting,

Do act as a window
To a duplexity of interchangeable actions,
A swift look at the human condition
Eternally bewildering.

Adquiesco*

Spilled scotch perfumes
Dingy sheets with depravity
As sensationalist tendencies
Overtake the light of reality

And erode humble living
As grand fissures emerge
And consume celestial beings
In moments brief and shrouded,

But still some stare on
As open eyed delinquents
Whose bodies remain confined
To journalistic endeavors

And crude depictions
That cage their existence
Into gilded worlds
Where bedazzled pageantry

Remains a fragment of vain minds
Where once popularity ends
And bright lights fade to cruel taunts
Can dark boudoirs be seen

As the final resting place of the rich,
Reduced to soil and dust all the same.
