2 poems by Akhila Siva : “Nephron in my brain” & “People call me matured..”
Nephron in my Brain
I don’t have to impress any
I don’t have to convince any
There is a brain in my heart
and nephron in my brain
You may think I’m weird.
But my weirdness is with
whom I’m comfortable only
Still sometimes my heart aches
and I know, that’s how it has to be
Heart is meant to be broken at times
or else I’ve to pretend I don’t have one!
People call me matured..
I smile
I look carefree
I know where to hide my tears
I eat my pain
I stand on my grounds
though with the fire in my eyes
I may cry in silence,
Yes, I do cry my heart out
but which won’t reach you
And I can hear you calling me matured!
